Teaching is something we are passionate about.   We love to deliver fun fondant modelling and cupcake decorating workshops in a safe and supportive environment. We are driven to inspire students of all ages, through the art of decorating, to ignite their creativity.

We are not just talking about throwing some sprinkles and blowing edible glitter onto frosting!  Oh No!  This is next level kind of stuff!  Explore the culinary arts learning the basics as well as progressing to more advanced techniques to master the skill of cupcake decorating on a whole new level. Seeing creativity evolve and what can be achieved, is expressed on smiling faces.   Who knows, we may inspire someone to be the next Master Chef!

How can we help you?

School Incursions/Educational Workshops: Do you spend endless hours researching educational workshops that align with the Western Australian Curriculum STEM/STEAM? As STEM/STEAM grows in importance within our schools, our children develop a variety of skills that are essential for success: critical thinking and problem solving, creativity and innovation, to name a few. We have seen how our fondant art class can help build self-confidence and self-esteem, and how creative expression plays a key role in a child’s emotional development.

School Holidays: Are you always on the lookout for something entertaining that keeps children happy and engaged? We provide workshops which appeal to various associations across all sectors: Library school holiday programmes / Holiday classes / Vacation Care Centres / Holiday Camps

Kids Parties: Does the thought of planning your child’s party stress you out? We provide everything for a fun, unforgettable experience – girls or boys – we cater for all ages and themes.

Aged Care/ Senior Citizens: Need an activity that alleviates boredom and keep seniors minds busy while offering sensory stimulation? We have found our workshops aid in relaxation, improves communication and socialisation, even encourages humour and playfulness. Furthermore, it is said arts and crafts help with hand eye co-ordination, cognitive abilities and concentration and may even help prevent feelings of anxiety or depression.

City Councils: Our workshops add uniqueness to council programmes, by encouraging community engagement as well as reaching  diverse participants. Our workshops are suitable from early learning, to youth, aged and disability services along with community care.

Special needs: We are fully aware of just how powerful creative cupcake therapy can be for everyone. In our classes, no child is left behind, we accommodate for special needs by providing a patient, calm and safe environment.  Artistic activities directly exercise and strengthen the cognitive and physical skills that generally challenge special needs students such as oral, tactile, visual, sensory and motor skills.

Maylands Library

I was impressed by the professionalism and enthusiasm shown by the Cupcake Kellys during the workshop.  The children were engaged throughout the whole session.  I would be very happy to have them back for another library activity.

The cupcake decorating workshop at Morley Library was a great success!

Children enjoyed being guided through creating two different characters from fondant icing, and learning tricks and techniques for piping and using various tools. The finished products were very impressive, and the children were very proud of their achievements, plus they were developing STEM skills at the same time. The friendly nature of Kelly and Kelly was particularly noted in the participant feedback. Thank you!
